How do I change the name or hailing port of my vessel?

According to Cornell Law, “the name of a documented vessel may not be changed without the prior approval of the Director, NVDC.” 

Changing your vessel’s name and/or hailing port can be done by completing our online form: “Change of Vessel Name/Hailing Port.”
