Getting your initial documentation for your vessel isn’t easy. Then, you have to renew coast guard documentation, which can be even more difficult. As vessel owners ourselves, we always thought that was too much trouble for one person to have to deal with. The Old Ways of Renewal
Before the internet, we didn’t refer to our era as “the dark ages,” but we might as well have. That’s particularly true when it came to vessel documentation. You may have read us say this before, but you used to have to find a form or print it out, then you had to write everything out by hand. You had to be very careful and meticulous with your handwriting, and then you had to mail it in. At that point, all you could do was wait, and hope that your documentation renewal went through. After all that, hopefully, you got your documentation. Like we said: we realized there had to be a better way.
Renew Coast Guard Documentation with Us
At our site, you can renew your documentation online. That means that you can just type up your documentation, and then press tab to put it over. So, there’s no more worrying about “filling everything out right” or “is my handwriting legible?” Instead, you can just type up your renewal and, if you’re like most people, save plenty of time during the process. Then, you can delete the whole “having to go outside and mail your forms” part of the process, too. Instead, just press a few more buttons, and your renewal will be sent in.
Renew for Years to Come
Perhaps the biggest advantage we offer over other forms of renewal is that we make it so you can renew your documentation for years in advance. If you just go through other formats, you have to do it year by year. That’s not the case with us. We make it possible to renew up to five years in advance. Imagine: not having to worry about your documentation for a half decade. Sure, it’s just one less thing to worry about, but it’s one big thing that you won’t have to worry about anymore.
Document Processors and More
Another great feature about renewing your documentation with us is our document processors. As we mentioned, if there’s something wrong with your forms, the Coast Guard will send them back to you, and you’ll have to start the whole process over again. That won’t happen if you go through us.
